The agreement between you and GoDushi when you use the platform as a renter, host, or visitor.

1. Who we are
GoDushi is a marketplace operated by Moesker Group VOF, a Dutch general partnership registered in the Netherlands. We connect car owners on Curaçao (“hosts”) with people who want to rent a car (“renters”). We are not a car rental company ourselves. We provide the platform on which the rental agreement is made.
These terms govern your use of the platform. By signing up, booking a car, or listing a car, you agree to them.
2. The booking is between renter and host
When you rent a car through GoDushi, you enter into a rental agreement directly with the host. We help with discovery, booking, payment, and dispute mediation, but the rental itself is the host's responsibility. That includes the physical car, the keys, and the condition of the car at pickup and return.
Hosts agree to provide a roadworthy, insured car that matches the listing description. Renters agree to use the car responsibly, return it on time, and cover any damage caused during their rental.
3. For renters
Booking and payment
When you book a car, you'll see the total price up front: rental amount, any pickup fees, add-ons you select, and a clear breakdown.
Payment is split in two. You pay a reservation fee online through our payment provider (Stripe) to confirm the booking. The remaining balance you pay your host directly at pickup, in cash or by card, whichever the host accepts. Both amounts, and how they're split, are shown before you confirm. The online reservation fee is non-refundable once your host has blocked the dates for you (see Cancellation, below).
Pickup and return
Show up on time at the agreed location with a valid driving licence and a credit card or ID for the host to record. The host may refuse to hand over the car if you can't show these, and you forfeit the rental amount in that case.
Return the car at the agreed time and place, with the same fuel level it had at pickup unless your host's policy says otherwise. Late returns may incur a per-hour fee set by the host.
Damage and liability
You are fully liable for any damage to the car during your rental period that's caused by misuse, negligence, or driving outside the terms agreed at pickup (paved roads only, no offshore islands, etc.). The host's insurance may cover some scenarios. Check with the host before pickup what's covered.
We strongly recommend taking out personal travel insurance with vehicle coverage. GoDushi does not offer first-party damage insurance at this time.
Cancellation
Each listing carries a cancellation policy chosen by the host. The applicable policy is shown on the listing page and on your booking confirmation. Refunds (where due) are calculated according to that policy.
Cancellations made through the booking page on GoDushi are the only ones that count. Verbal or chat-based cancellations are not binding.
EU 14-day right of withdrawal
Because car rentals are scheduled for specific dates, the EU consumer 14-day right of withdrawal under Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 16(l) does not apply to bookings on GoDushi. The cancellation policy on the listing applies instead.
4. For hosts
Listing your car
You're responsible for the accuracy of every listing, including photos, description, mileage, condition, and pickup options. Listings that materially misrepresent a car may be removed without warning, and you may be charged the renter's difference if a renter shows up to a car that doesn't match what was promised.
You confirm that you own each car you list, or have the owner's express permission to list it for rental.
Insurance and roadworthiness
Each car you list must:
- Have a valid Curaçao license plate and registration.
- Carry at least the legal minimum third-party liability insurance valid for commercial rental use.
- Pass a roadworthiness check and have any due maintenance (brakes, tires, lights) attended to.
If your insurance does not cover commercial rental, you must upgrade it before listing. Renting under inadequate insurance is a serious breach and may result in account termination plus liability for damages.
Commission
GoDushi charges hosts a commission on each booking. The current rate and a worked example are published on our pricing page.
We do not hold or transfer your rental income. The renter pays the reservation fee to us online, and that fee is our commission. You collect the remaining balance directly from the renter at pickup and keep it in full. In other words: we never receive the money you earn, and you never wait on a payout from us. We issue you an invoice for the commission we collected, for your records and bookkeeping.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold GoDushi harmless against any third-party claim arising from a car you list. That includes claims by alleged owners, lien-holders, or insurers about the right to rent the car, and claims by renters or third parties about damage, injury, or loss caused during a rental. This indemnity covers reasonable legal costs we incur in defending such a claim.
Cancellation by host
Cancelling a confirmed booking on the host's side is disruptive to renters and is treated as a serious matter. Repeated host cancellations may result in suspension or removal from the platform. If a host must cancel due to force majeure (accident, breakdown, illness), reach out to us at hosts@godushi.com immediately and we'll mediate.
Damage and disputes
Any damage claim must be filed within 48 hoursof the car's return, with photographic evidence and (where available) a repair estimate. We mediate disputes between host and renter where the parties can't agree. Our decision is binding for the purpose of the platform; either party may still seek redress through the courts.
5. Money, fees, and refunds
All prices on GoDushi are shown in US dollars (USD), the de facto currency of Curaçao tourism. We may show indicative conversions to other currencies, but the binding amount is always the USD figure shown at checkout.
Refunds of the online reservation fee (where due under the listing's cancellation policy) are issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days. Currency conversion fees applied by your card issuer are not refundable by us. The balance you pay your host at pickup is settled with the host directly and is not handled by GoDushi.
Separately from the rental price, a host may collect a refundable security deposit at pickup (a cash or card-hold amount against damage). GoDushi does not hold or manage this security deposit; its amount and terms are set by the host and disclosed on the listing page.
6. Account responsibilities
Keep your login credentials private. You're responsible for anything done through your account. If you suspect your account has been compromised, change your password immediately and contact us.
You can delete your account at any time from your account settings. Deletion anonymizes your profile but historical booking, review, and payout records are retained for legal and accounting purposes.
7. Acceptable use
You may not use GoDushi to:
- Misrepresent yourself, the cars you list, or the bookings you make.
- Bypass our payment system to settle a confirmed booking off-platform.
- Harass, threaten, or discriminate against other users.
- List a car that's stolen, illegally imported, or otherwise not yours to rent.
- Use the platform to facilitate criminal activity, including drug trafficking or human trafficking.
Breach of any of the above results in immediate account suspension, forfeiture of pending payouts, and where applicable, a referral to law enforcement.
8. Liability of GoDushi
We provide the platform “as is.” We do our best to keep it running and to mediate fairly, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free listings, or that any specific renter or host is the right match.
For hosts (B2B)
To the maximum extent allowed by law, our liability to you as a host for any claim arising from your use of the platform is limited to the total commission GoDushi earned from your bookings during the 12 months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages, including lost income, reputational harm, or business plans disrupted by a renter no-show or platform downtime.
For renters (consumers)
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or anything else that cannot be limited under applicable consumer law. Outside of those cases, our liability for indirect or consequential losses (such as missed flights, lost holiday plans, or follow-on accommodation costs) is excluded to the extent permitted by law. Your statutory rights as a consumer in the Netherlands and the EU are not affected by these terms.
9. Termination
Either side can terminate the relationship at any time. You can close your account; we can suspend or close yours if you breach these terms or if your continued use of the platform creates legal or operational risk for us. We'll give you notice and a chance to fix it where possible.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the platform changes materially or when the law requires. We'll notify active users by email at least 30 days before the changes take effect, and you'll see a banner in the dashboard for substantive changes that require re-acknowledgement.
11. Governing law and disputes
The platform service contract between you and GoDushi is governed by Dutch law. The rental contract between renter and host is governed by Curaçao law, since that's where the cars are and where the rental happens.
We try to resolve disputes through our internal mediation first. If that doesn't work, consumer renters in the EU may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. Otherwise, disputes go to the competent court in the relevant jurisdiction. That is Rotterdam (Netherlands) for the platform contract, and Willemstad (Curaçao) for the rental contract.
